About ChiGong

The essence of Chigong is total mindfulness. There are three aspects to everybodys wellbeing; physical, mental and spiritual. Chigong is one total package to address total wellness. the central theme is total awareness and being in the moment. 

 

A good zen definition of being in the moment is – ‘Become what you do’ ; i.e, for example, if you are cutting vegetables, you become the vegetable, you feel its pain of being cut. 

 

The other aspect of Chigong is you become like a duck, i.e., you develop an outer calmness by working vigorously inside; with practice this stage leads to a calm, effortless gliding. As you regularly practice Chigong even for 5 minutes in a day, in a few months you reach this stage of effortless gliding. All the energies of your body are in harmony to sustain your wellness.
